There’s something scary that I let into my life gladly — something most people run from. It’s called fear. For the past few months, I’ve been completely terrified of a new idea — a new project that was completely out of my comfort zone and completely awesome.The reason I welcome fear — and love it — is because it is the best indicator of opportunity.Do you know what I did with that idea? I put it on the backburner to sit and wilt for a month. I’m pretty sure it was going to sit there forever if an amazing friend hadn’t kicked me and made me do the work to get it out to the world.

Today, I finally attacked the fear monster and let it lead me (as per usual) to its grand opportunity. I set the crap aside, read the necessary tutorials, downloaded the right software, and got to work. It took a while, and I’m sure the kinks will continue for a while, but the feeling of accomplishment is like nothing else. Will you join me on this new part of my adventure?
